After spending 6 semesters in Environmental Sciences, the pace of my thinking ability has been altered to greater expend. For example, this year, the prime focus of my thoughts (like many others) has been alternate energy resources. When ever I see wind rustling through the trees or experience a bright shiny sunny day, what I actually see is the energy being transported from one place to another. Many might think I'm over reacting but if taken seriously , I do have a point. The reason is simple, what ever has been attributed to be mere predictions in the past have turned out to be bitter realities of today. Now mankind has been left with two types of options. One is to mourn our shortcomings and just let things happen while the latter option is to at least give this planet a try. This session was carried out on 18th May 2016 at Fatima Jinnah Women University regarding the importance of transport in daily life. Skilled men from their respective fields were there and shared there experience and views. Dr. Salim janjua, national project Manager (NPM) at Pakistan Sustainable Transport (PakTrans),UNDP Pakistan started the discussion while stressing about the need and advent of sustainable transport in Pakistan. This year Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (rcci)  took an initiative and organized Rawal Expo at the topi rukh auditorium, Ayub Park,  Rawalpindi. Mr. Ashen Iqbal was the chief guest at the opening ceremony at te first day. A lot of celebrities attended this event and appreciated the effort. "Such a huge event had not been created in tein cities for the last six years" claims management. This whole event lasted for three days i.e. from 13th May 2016-15th May 2016. The whole expo consisted of food festival, auto show, live music and concert,  corporate sector display and  shopping opportunities for those who crave for it. The person who is born never know how much transition  are they going to endeavour in their life/ will take place in their life. The artist also didn't know that like the rest of the lot. From early age, the sensitive nature of the artist made it possible to observe the complexity of scenarios going on in the surrounding; some were understood while most appeared unimportant yet  they were observed very keenly . With the number of passing years, this observation started to show its true colours, the artist started to illustrate all  those observations in form of paintings; those little pieces of drawings and patterns on vases were of much significance than the world’s most precious art crafts to the artist. Yesterday the history of Pakistan faced another strike on its future; the students of bacha khan university,  charsadda were attacked by militants. With the breaking news being streamed all over media, people were imploded by the immense fear that perhaps history is indeed repeating its self after such a short gap however this fear was over come by the military forces within hours and most of the people were rescued.  Nearly 21 deaths have been reportef by the authorities including one professor, four security guards and students. Whenever the future of Pakistan is at risk, we see a lot of controversy being rotated. Have you ever wondered how our Earth is sustaining life by keeping  all its biological (living thing) and non-biological components together. How bonds or interactions are built among both? An ecosystem is the minimal entity that has the properties required to sustain life. Earth is characteristics of ecosystems, not of individual organisms/populations. Life is sustained by interactions and functioning of many organisms together. Ecosystems ( ecological communities along with both biotic and a biotic components) form the baseline. Today I found this little piece of information in my personal "archives". It was probably the first ever assignment submitted at the beginning of my professional studies. Its fascinating how human knowledge grows over time.......... "Changes in temperature affect aquatic life. Temperature determines which organisms will thrive and which will diminish in numbers and size. For each organism there is a thermal death point. Also there is a range of temperature of that produces optimal abundance. Climate change is a cause of increasing concern to scientists and it will have decisive effects on marine mammals.
