Resolution Day
Watching Pakistan Day Parade clearly defines the reason behind the existence and survival of this country " PAKISTAN" The parade at Pakistan day (Also known as resolution day) was organized today after seven years. This day is celebrated in the memory of 23 rd March 1940 at which Pakistan resolution was passed. This day was not celebrated till 1956 but became a public holiday after wards. Special programs are broadcast on television and radio and ceremonies are organized in schools, colleges etc. Each year it is celebrated with full zeal by the citizens as it reminds them of the struggle trough which their forefathers got this separate homeland however, there came a lapse of seven years in organizing special parade for this day and finally it was organized by the officials at Shakrpuriyan Islamabad.
